Set between the events of Nightmare on Elm Street 5 - Das Trauma (1989) and A Nightmare on Elm Street 6: Freddy's Finale (1991) .

Since this is a fan film it adds elements to the Elm Street mythology which are clearly non-canon to the official film series such as Freddy being an ice cream vendor and the one responsible for his mother's death.
