- Cheetah: [Nightwing has discovered Cheetah robbing a jewelry store] What's the problem, Nightwing? Gotham only big enough for one cat lady? You'll make me insecure.
- Nightwing: Why? You should know by now that nobody likes a cheetah.
- Cheetah: Aw, come over here and we can hiss and make up.
- Nightwing: Alright, since you're new in town, I'll make this fast.
- Cheetah: Boy, you don't know fast.
- [starts fighting him]
- Nightwing: [Red Robin teasingly says Flash will die if he fails his upcoming task; Flash is unsettled, Nightwing places a comforting hand on Flash's shoulder] Calm down, you can do it. I... believe in you.
- The Flash: [a beat, then he abruptly hugs Nightwing, smiling] Thanks man, I needed that.
- The Flash: [proceeds to hang on tightly for an extended amount of time]
- Nightwing: Aw, come on, alright, just-please just get off of me!
- The Flash: [the heroes all observe from a high building as the villains are taken into custody by the Gotham police; Flash turns to Nightwing and smiles] So! Y'know, thanks and stuff for... believing in me.
- Nightwing: [a tiny beat before he briefly smiles at Flash] Yeah. It's cool
- [he continues to watch the city below them]
- The Flash: [still smiling at Nightwing] We'll have to do it again.
- Nightwing: Sure. Whenever.
- [turns to face Flash now]
- The Flash: Because... you know, I really...
- Nightwing: [interrupts with a smirk] Dude, for the fastest guy alive, you give the slowest goodbyes.
- [a beat as Flash is taken aback. Flash grins then salutes Nightwing before speeding off on his way; Nightwing smirks, then confidently leaps off the building, also departing]
- [instead of continuing to fight, Cheetah and Killer Croc have fled the scene of their crime after encountering Nightwing and the later arrival of Flash]
- The Flash: [thoughtfully] That was a weird team-up, wasn't it?
- Nightwing: [walking away, irritated at losing their targets] Them? Or us?
- The Flash: [grins] Touché
- Batman: [he and the others have chased the villains to the zoo] I'll handle Cheetah. The rest of you find the others.
- [grapple-guns away]
- The Flash: [sees Silverback jumping away] Dibs on the ape.
- [zips away]
- Green Arrow: Careful, he's much more- And he's gone.
- Nightwing: I know, right?
- Green Arrow: That's my cue.
- [runs off]
- Nightwing: [to Robin] Come on. I think I know where Man-Bat flew off.
- [Batman has chased Cheetah into the panther exhibit of the zoo]
- Cheetah: How's your night vision, Batman? We cats see in the dark, you know. You dress as one of us, but secretly you fear your animal nature. You bury your animal instincts beneath layers of duty and order. Allow me to carve it out for you!
- [leaps out of the shadows and attacks Batman]
