Well what can we say here, it's good. Especially for being a gay flick.

It has basically nothing to do with the previous movie other then the main actor being the same.

There is a bit of borrowing from another movie at one point which turn out laughable, but overall it's a good watch.

For us, the film marks a step change in the genre. Plot, characters and effects combine to deliver something truly outstanding. There is a rawness, a freshness, a sophistication, and a tension that is rarely seen in short films. Just as much is conveyed in a single gesture than some films manage to deliver in their entirety. The conclusion of the film leaves you with that unsettled feeling in the pit of your stomach - it will never leave you. Masterful performances and editing to match, deliver the goods. If there was ever a case for a sequel, surely it is this one. Jake Robbins as CJ is a powerhouse of talent - amply displayed in this film - and we cannot wait to see him in James Franco's Actors Anonymous.

This scenario delves into the psyche of any young man who has ever ventured out into the unknown for a "hook-up". It's not unique to gay men (though it happens more frequently). Despite the dangers, the "red flags", the fear...the sexual urges always seem to take control. This film mixes these themes into a very surprising plot-twist which leaves the viewer wondering (hoping?) there will be more to the story. Extremely well-written, acted and edited, it's definitely worth a few minutes for anyone who is willing to take a very dark, psychological ride. The production values/quality is so high that I seriously am hoping some backers will take this up as a project...very well worth it.

Its basic virtue, like basic sin is represented by the high dose of realism. It is exposed, in precise manner, a dark world, pragmatic manner to survive, risks and cold relations, the moral like a sort of guillotine and the feeling about a terrible truth, near you, easy to ignore or define as exageration or lie.

But a correct crafted story and good performance and clear message. Indeed, not original but very direct , not reductible at homosexual univers but talking, more, about human nature.
