Things are looking mighty weird in the Swiss scifi-fantasy picture Polder: Tokyo Heidi - a film that seemingly takes a bit of everything, throws it is a pot, stirs it up a bit, and then throws in a little bit more.  The second feature by the duo of Julian Grunthal and Samuel Schwarz the story revolves around a new gaming system that draws its narrative out of the secret desires of its users. Because nothing could possibly go wrong with that. Right? Neuroo-x, a German-Swiss-Chinese entertainment company group, stands for games that dissolve the boundary between reality and gaming. So, what the heck is Polder you ask, and what did I just watch? Well, from what I can tell it's sci-fi, it's horror, it's cyberpunk, it's alternate reality art-house and everything in between. It's a film, a game and the biggest Swiss transmedia venture ever. In short, I have no idea, but I want more now!
