I'm a Dolph Lundgren fan but this was terrible!
One of the worst editing jobs I've seen. It's like a bunch of randomly filmed scenes all put together, no flow of any kind of story. Very slow and the action sucked. They used stand ins for Dolph on almost any scene that was shot from the back, acting was bad and nothing made sense. Just avoid at all costs and hopefully next time we get a decent action flick from Lundgren.
Similar idea to Taken of Liam Neeson. Basically revenge, child, corruption, taking things into own hands, saving somebody. Meaning good idea or topic, and story. But bad colors, resolution, recording, acting, details, quality, and almost everything. There is too much dark colors, to little things to see because most is recorded from the close up, not showing us greater picture of the environment. Also not good intro, explanation, and outro. Also did not like that there was too much foreign language which makes it difficult or impossible to understand. Bit adventurous and emotional. But still too old. Overally I am not satisfied. I expected better explanation, intro, and more daylight and colors.
Yes that is a pun. But in case you are wondering why Dolph Lundgren is in a movie like this: it's because he has to pay his bills. Medical and otherwise - and this does that. Not to mention that he gets to travel to a country he may not have been in or just enjoy one he has gone before.
I really like Dolph and I have seen worse movies (some of them starring Steven Seagal, who some may compare to Dolph, rightly or not). But I really felt sorry for him in a couple of scenes. He has a certain age and some of the longer shots are not flattering at all. He is not at the point where it looks like slow motion when he runs, but he is not the fastest on his feet anymore either.
Anyway, the action is ok and if you are a fan of his, the paper thin story won't really matter either. Other than that, there is some italian if that is helping the case of the movie - so up to you to decide what you'll make of this.

This is a very useless movie that they should never have wasted time and money on making. It has parts of a story, but not all, maybe there is 30% of the story here. And seriously no background on anyone. Suddenly there is some drugs and then there is a kidnapping... Looks like Dolph Lundgren took a vacation to italy and managed to include a little acting...

Dolph Lundgreen has the looks. He has the skills. And he has had a lot of opportunities to go big, playing parts in big productions.
Then why does he do these amateur movies? He's obviously the only trained actor - the rest are extras with no acting skills. The filmography is just as ridiculous as the score, and it's evident that no real writer was attached.
This is not even at par with film school projects, and Dolph is not getting younger.
I would love to see him play the lead in an adaption of just about any Robert Ludlum film adaptation.

Dolph Has aged well and is good eye candy, however, this plot needed more.
More you might ask? It needed more storyline, better character development, and some more of something.

This movie is so slow, low budget, and boring, and the acting is so horrible, that is one of the worst movies I've seen in a decade.

How can a movie be so awful and still get as far as a streaming service where unsuspecting folks like me can watch this garbage. I watched it because I like Lundgren. Why in the world would he do such a terrible film? He had to have read the script. Worst writing I've ever seen brought to the screen. Horrible dialogue, and the thing was so full of holes, it made my eyes bleed. Did someone have to make this stupid thing because a gun was being held to his head? Worst movie I've ever seen. I only watched it all to see how many plot holes I could find as we went along. I don't know whether to laugh or cry because I watched this thing.

So I agree this is a slow starter as far as thrillers go but Dolph is great in the action scenes. A story of revenge and justice, for a loving father. I liked the story and the theme comes to life as this story unfolds
Dolph made a name for himself playing opposite Stallone all those years ago. For whatever reason, he never became a huge box office star but pretty close, kind of like Van Dam. Both are expert bad asses and have physical appeal yet both kept showing up in somewhat subpar films. Also similar is that as these action stars age, they still want to act and we still want to watch them.
In The Tracker, we immediately realize it's an Italian film; and while Italians are wonderful with architecture and pasta producing films isn't something Italy is famous for. But at that point, you may decide to lower expectations a bit. After an intriguing opening, the film takes too long to introduce other characters. It doesn't have the best cohesion and some important plot points do get lost in translation -literally- as they hop from American to Italian to English and to English with heavy Italian accents. So it does ask a lot of the audience. However, finally around the 40 minute mark, some action begins and continues the rest of the film. The main actors all do acceptable while there are some obvious scenes that should have been redone and much of the film was too dark - but that seems to be a trend in this century.
Dolph looks great for 60-something.
It's interesting that on YouTube there are a lot more positive reviews for this film. I think it's because there's a broader audience there from all around the world, and probably fewer young people who are disappointed that this wasn't an American action film. The biggest disappointment for me is coming here and seeing so many ill-mannered reviews. There are other ways to express dislike, but I suppose diplomacy and respect come with maturity.

Mysterious is not, exciting is not, unpredictable is not, action is not, violence is not, romantic is not. This movie is typically nothing good at any aspects.
The acting was horrible, the "fight" scenes were worse, and the background "music" was worse than that! Dolph walked like he was over 100 years old, could barely walk up the stairs, and was too decrepit to do the fight scenes that, at best, showed him throwing a belabored punch -- painful to watch. When he went into martial arts mode he could barely raise his leg so it was mostly edited out. As if it couldn't get any worse, it did -- the story was ridiculous.

Yes I've seen better movies but believe me I've seen a lot worse. There's not as much action in this one and I blame the movie's director for the lack of action sequences. A tight budget didn't help things.
All in all, it's Dolph and he's always fun to watch. The man is a MIT grad in Chemical Engineering amongst other similar achievements. Huge breakthroughs for Dolph came in the form of "the EXPENDABLES"1. 2 & 3 . Dolph is now an actor and a damn good one at that.
I truly believe that Dolph''s big role is yet to come. He'd be very good in the right comedy. He always cracks me up.

The film is strange. I liked some actings, I was surprised with Elizabeth Kinnear, who I didn't know, and liked the performance of many Italian actors. The performance of the writer and of the director not, the story is incongruous, a lot of details are absurd and/or absolutely cliche. Ok, the director gave the actors some space for silences, I liked that. So, I enjoyed some actings, but suffered the rest....

Dolph Lundgren deserves a decent script and a decent director of photography and a decent first unit director....this movie has none of those.
Just greedy producers not willing to hire more experienced people.
Usually a fan of Dolph Lundgren and feel as though he's never really got a chance to shine. This movie is indicative of the choices he makes unfortunately. I couldn't really follow the plot which seems to tie different people and events together only haphazardly. It's like the writer thought about action scenes but not any cohesive or compelling reason for them to be a movie. The few action scenes have that choppy editing and shaky cam to cover the fact that they are poorly done. Nothing ever seems adequately explained so it's hard to care. And loads of the movie are dark to make things even more muddled. Even at a merciful 79 minutes (minus credits) it's still too long.
Dear Mr Lundgren, I think it's best for us all if you would decide to become a priest....
This where 90 minutes I never get back....

Dolphs great in this movie little slow at first but some great twists through out this movie acting very good .not the best but not the worst middle of the riad movie i enjoyed it
It's not worst or not really bad film i mean on stop believing the ratings oh it got 3.2 doesn't mean oh crap it's worst movie of all time, nah believe me i seen much worser Dolph Lundgren films like 4GOT10, Altitude, Legendary, In the Name of the King: Two Worlds, Retrograde,The Last Patrol AKA Last Warrior, Pentathlon, Cover Up the worst films i have seen then to this film. i thought this film was okay it's simple cliche film Dolph Lundgren has done a lot of films that has got to do with Revenge like with Punisher (1989), Showdown in Little Tokyo, Army of One, The Russian Specialist AKA Mechank, Skin Trade but with this movie it's slow not much action he had
something to do in film like fight scenes, him shooting bad guys but the film wasn't much but unless if your here to watch Dolph Lundgren that's about it theirs nothing too excited about this movie but at least it's watchable for Lundgren if your die hard fan of him, i even met Dolph Lundgren back of day in 2015 i have all his movies in my collection as well. story follows Aiden Hakansson (Dolph Lundgren) has a wife and daughter brought them to party 15 years earlier, his wife and daughter were kidnapped by a mysterious
stranger travels to a remote village in Italy. in present day i don't understand why Dolph doesn't look for his family back 15 years because he is just living a normal life by himself he tries to go up to cops ask for help, you have this cop Antonio Graziani (Marco Mazzoli) He travels to Italy to discover the cop who had re-opened the case wants to help Aiden to find killer who killed his wife and kid. but i thought the action was okay nothing too special but i thought this film just needed Dolph Lundgren going out getting revenge and get a full on action because the cop Antonio who helps him doesn't need to be in film he could of just went out their for himself like what other revenge movies did but
this needed to be much better not a slow burn pace film just to wait for final showdown. i wish this film could have been a better movie not slow paced film Not fast moving, but still enjoyable film like it's not the worstest Dolph film in his career i mean look at worser films like Cover Up, Last Patrol AKA Last Warrior the worstest films i have ever seen in my life then to this movie i mean look if you die hard fan of Dolph Lundgren you watch it and you can decide to whatever you like movie or not your choice but i thought it was one of those films to watch as time waster not a film i want to watch often just for a Dolph Lundgren Marathon i would watch it for i recommended a better movie with Dolph his recent movies like Acceleration, Hard Night Falling a lot more better then to this movie.

Terrible script, pace, continuity, acting, credibility.
Actually I felt embarrassed for the crew & cast.
Cringe worthy.
Only gave it two stars because I watched it until the end.

Needed serious edits. Idea was ok, but execution was poor. Blocking of scenes needed much more thought.
Simply terrible! If you watch this it's time you'll wish you had spent watching paint dry.
