A Landers Family Project
Notimng that it was another Landers who produced Ghost Writer I'm calling this
passably amusing film A Landers Family Project. Both sisters are shown to full
advantage and they have a lot to show off.
Audrey Landers is a struggling writer who rents a beach house for quiet and solitude to write. She gets neither when she discovers this was the beach house that was owned by a Marilyn Monroe type movie star who washed up dead on the beach back in 1962. Said film star is played by sister Judy Landers.
The ghostly and fleshly sisters have quite a romp together solving what in fact was her murder from two decades ago. Unlike many ghosts Judy can turn on and off the visibility to whomever and how many ever she wants. She also sometimes forgets while she's beyond mortal pain Audrey is not.
Not the greatest comedy ever, but the viewer will get a few chuckles out of it.
