Her Grandfather, Sharad Pandey, was a popular heart surgeon who performed the first-ever heart transplant in India at KEM Hospital. Many celebrities were his patients.

Panday's favorite actors are Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Tom Hiddleston, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Her favorite actresses are Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, and Emma Watson.

She is a big film bug and has a number of movies on her favourites. Her favourite Bollywood films are: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), 2 States (2014), Student of the Year (2012) whereas, her favourite Hollywood movies are: 50 First Dates (2004), Kung Fu Panda (2008), Tangled (2010), Harry Potter (2001-2011), The Notebook (2004), Scary Movie (2000), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Titanic (1997), and A Walk To Remember (2002).

Panday was invited to participate in Vanity Fair's Le Bal des débutantes event in La Ville Lumière, Paris in 2017 and she stole the show in a black and blue Jean-Paul Gaultier creation.

Her favorite travel destinations are Las Vegas, New York, and London. Panday is a dog lover and has a pet named, Fudge. She is a party person and has been snapped often attending parties with her friends.
