Quarter-Finalist of the "LWIFF - Lonely Wolf"-Film Festival in 2023 with his short-documentary Richard Köhler: Portrait of a Serial Artist (2023).

Won the "24h to take"- Jury Prize in 2017.

Eingeengt & Angestrengt (2023) was part of the official selection of the "FILMZ - Festival des deutschen Films" in 2023.

On July 2024 his film Pretty Things (2024) won the Stockholm City Film Festival-Award in the categories: Best Actress Short Film (for Judith Jaskulla's performance respectively) , Best Cinematography & Best Horror Film.

Pretty Things (2024) was part of the Randfilmfest in September 2024. On the day the film was shown alongside the other nominees, Nicolas F. Costoglou and his Team were the only film crew that actually showed up, so they had as much time as they wanted to talk about the movie, which was well regarded by the audience.
