Nasser Al-Khelaifi is the Chairman of beIN MEDIA GROUP, the company which owns the legendary MIRAMAX film studio, headquartered in the city of Los Angeles in the United States of America.
As President of beIN MEDIA GROUP, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has led a growth strategy to create one of the world's most successful sports and entertainment brands, providing significant investment in original entertainment and grassroots and professional sports around the world.
In 2016, as part of beIN MEDIA GROUP's international expansion plans, the group acquired MIRAMAX® film studio, the same year that Bridget Jones's Baby was released.
In 2020, after producing a series of internationally successful films, Nasser Al-Khelaifi struck a landmark partnership with ViacomCBS and Paramount. The partnership allowed all parties to explore further opportunities around MIRAMAX's iconic IP, while substantially increasing the scale of beIN's entertainment business.
The recent deal with ViacomCBS and Paramount underlined beIN's ambitions on the global scale and highlighted how Mr Al-Khelaifi has established the company as one of the leading groups in sport, entertainment and media.
In 2017, Nasser appointed Bill Block CEO of MIRAMAX®. When appointing Bill, Nasser said; "Bill's extensive experience across numerous platforms, combined with his deep knowledge of the industry, makes him outstandingly qualified to propel MIRAMAX® into this new and transformative world of distribution, content and sales. Miramax is committed to expand production and acquisitions in film and television and Bill's strong leadership will surely lead MIRAMAX® successfully into the future, and we are thrilled to have him on board."

Alongside Mr Al-Khelaifi's role as Chairman of beIN MEDIA GROUP, he is also the President of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Club, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF), the Qatar Squash Foundation (QSF) and vice president of the Asian Tennis Federation for West Asia (ATF), following a successful career as a professional tennis player, playing in the Davis Cup for Qatar and on the ATP tour.
