Portia was actually born Michelle Lynn Frederick. Her Mother had her last name legally changed when she was 6 years to Morris when she married her Step-Father, at the time of her Mom's pregnancy with her sister. Then Michelle married at the age of 17, her last name became Johnson, but she changed it back to Morris when she divorced at age 19.
