- Born in Manhattan and grew up in Fresh Meadows, Queens, New York.
- He left the Machinima production company Rooster Teeth Productions as well as their subsidiary Achievement Hunter on April 17th, 2015 to pursue a full time career as an independent and solo Twitch.tv streamer and YouTuber. He plans to make it his final job.
- As of Minecraft Episode 151: Brown Out, Ray is no longer in Achievement Hunter having transitioned away to Twitch, and his last week began with Cake Walk. Ray was able to enter the famous tunnel, but his footage from inside is not seen.
- His dad's name is Ray Narvaez Sr.
- In the months following Ray's transition to Twitch, the remaining five Achievement Hunter hosts Geoff, Ryan, Jack, Michael and Gavin made massive renovations to their Minecraft, GTA Online and other game world's to remove Ray's former assets. In Minecraft, Michael set Ray's horse free (he actually killed it by throwing it in the lava pool) and the men made massive renovations to Ray's former dirt home for the next person they chose to hire (Jeremy) rather than destroying the entire house. They seized some of Ray's abandoned assets acquiring it for themselves and destroyed anything else that was useless. Six months following Ray's departure from Rooster Teeth, editor and recurring host Jeremy Dooley was officially promoted to the 6th main host by Geoff, as revealed during the YouTube episode Let's Play Minecraft: Episode 177: Blocking the List Part 2 uploaded to YouTube on Friday, October 16, 2015, effectively replacing Ray Narvaez Jr. On Ask.fm, Ray praised Jeremy's promotion saying that he thought Jeremy was the perfect fit for the main guys as Jeremy was very talkative, passionate, excited and more energetic than Ray. Jeremy also has a great sense of humor and won games even before he was hired while he was a recurring host.
