The film is Dedicated to Courtney Penn's son August who was born after the film had wrapped shooting. August is also the nephew of Brandon Burrows.
CEO Bill, played by Eric Roberts, is an homage to Courtney Penn and Brandon Burrows's father William "Bill" Caldwell IV who was a CEO of Advanced Cell Texhnology before he suddenly passed away in 2010 and Eric Robert's line in the film "I don't not disagree" was one of Bill Caldwell's humorous lines he would use in meetings to break the ice.
