She is a big fan of Kana Hanazawa, which is shown mainly during her early days as a voice actress.

She won the Best Supporting Actress and Best Personality Award in the 12th Seiyuu Awards together with fellow I'm Enterprise voice actress Saori Ônishi.

On 2011, she had her first main role as Merry Nightmare in Yumekui Merry (2011), and also voiced young Yozora Mikazuki in Haganai - I Don't Have Many Friends (2011).

Her nickname "Ayaneru" was given to her by Nobuhiko Okamoto, because she sleeps (neru means sleep) a lot in her spare time.

She made her voice acting debut in 2010, having a minor role in the Keroro Gunsou movie and playing Futaba Shirayuki in the ninth episode of Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi, as well as voicing background characters in Oreimo.
