Sam's uncle, Richard Coleman is an Assistant Director in Canada and the US and has worked on productions such as Alive, Psych and Look Who's Talking Too.

Sam is based in Bexhill On Sea, the hometown of comedian Eddie Izzard, the boy band Keane and once resident to renowned poet Spike Milligan and John Logie Baird, the inventor of the Television.
