One of the biggest misconceptions about voice acting is not only that it's easy, but that it has everything to do with the sound of your voice. If you have a great voice you will be successful. In reality, voice over has very little to do with the sound of your voice and everything to do with your acting and performing abilities. There are voice actors working today who have beautiful voices but are struggling to make a living. There are also voice actors who have seemingly average voices who are incredibly successful.
