- Graduated from Webster University in December of 1996. To help pay her way through college, she worked for two-and-one-half years as a pre-school teacher at the same KinderCare Learning Center that she briefly attended as a child.
- Before beginning acting, worked as an assistant at Cine Shoppe, Inc., a film and television prop rental house in Dallas, Texas. While there, she worked with many shows and films, including the entire first season of NBC's "Crossing Jordan".
