- Curt Ackermann wurde am 8 April 1905 in Deutschland geboren. Er war Schauspieler, bekannt für Der verzauberte Tag (1944), Großstadtmelodie (1943) und Die lustigen Weiber (1936). Er starb im Jahr 1988 in Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
- A prominent German dubbing voice, he was Richard Carlson in It Came From Outer Space, Robert Mitchum in Night of the Hunter, Dr. Kaufman, the pod's spokesman (Larry Gates) in Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Vincent Price in the first few Corman/Poe movies, as well as Cary Grant.
- He was also active as a dialog writer, among others he wrote the German dialog for "That Touch of Mink" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's".
- Curt Ackermann only appeared in two more movies as an actor after the war - "Sag' die Wahrheit" (1946) and "Der Kaplan von Lorenzo" (1952).
- His greatest successes he had at the theater where he impersonated many roles. Especially his impressive voice had a great fascination.
- After the war he entered a new career with dubbing foreign movies. His voice which was regarded as one of the most masculine and high-classest of his era was very catchy, moreover he knew his trade like on one else.
