Aubrey Cottle

Aubrey Cottle, AKA 'Kirtaner', has spent most of his adult life an open secret, having founded and operated 420chan, a relative of 4chan primarily focused around cannabis, drug harm reduction, and professional wrestling, since 2005. What was largely unknown for over a decade outside a small circle of notable figures like Gregg Housh, all of whom were protecting this secret, was that Kirtaner, through 420chan, was the progenitor of the hacker collective Anonymous, in all its chaotic & destructive infancy.

Having revealed this secret to the world in 2020, he rapidly made waves with back-to-back high profile hacks of far-right platforms and social networks in an open war against QAnon.
