March, 2015: Performing as Lil' Sweet, the advertising mascot for Diet Dr. Pepper.

Justin is the voice and CGI mini-character for "Lil Sweet", the animated logo for Diet Dr. Pepper. His unique clothes are blinging; he is a fair-skinned African American; he sings in a wicked falsetto; and his hair is purple, all to remind the viewer of 'Prince (I)'. After the death of Prince in April 2016, many accused Dr. Pepper of being disrespectful. However, Dr. Pepper claimed it was not imitating Prince. First of all, they argued, His Purple Majesty would never dye his hair purple and his facial hair and hair-do were over the top. Nonetheless, after Prince died, the commercial now states, like in a video, "Justin Guarini as Lil Sweet".

Justin and his wife Reina have known each other since attending high school in Doylestown, PA. Although she was fifteen when they first met, they did not begin a relationship until 2007. Reina's mother was Justin's English teacher in high school.

Dad Eldrin Bell is a former Atlanta police chief.

Stepfather Jerry Guarini is a retired physicist.

A child's day is too often filled with mind-numbing facts solely designed for the next high-stake test, and not life application. An arts education is imperative to our children's growth and well being, and is proved to have a direct and positive effect on all other forms of reasoning.
