Honey Trehan was supposed to make his directorial debut in the year 2017 with 'Sapna Didi'. The movie was being produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and had Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone playing lead roles. Due to creative differences with Vishal Bhardwaj, Honey Trehan decided to part ways with the project.
