Catherine King(XII)

Catherine King is a highly experienced and influential Australian Labor Party politician and a key member of the current Albanese Government. She has a long history representing her regional Victorian electorate and extensive ministerial experience. In June 2022 Catherine was appointed to the role of Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. She has represented the federal electorate of Ballarat since 2001. She was the first woman to be elected to represent the people of Ballarat and has been consistently re-elected in every federal election since then, including in 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2022, and most recently, 2025.
