Stylish, blonde supporting actress in films of the 1930's and 40's, often seen in boulevard comedies and minor crime thrillers. On stage in Munich from 1921, she found work hard to come by in the aftermath of World War II. She emigrated to Peru circa 1950, but spent the last few years of her life back in Germany.

In the late 1930s, in order to boost her flagging career, she attempted to gain invitations to receptions given by Adolf Hitler.

Her final film was the Austrian comedy Viennese Girls which was made in 1945, but wasn't released until 1949.

The theater was her main field of activity.

Finding that offers of work were drying up she later emigrated to Peru, although she returned to spend her final years in her Bavarian hometown of Gauting.
