One of his earliest roles was as "Shampoo Man" in a Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo commercial shot in the late 70s.

A graduate of the University of Iowa.

As a morbid joke, he ''still'' keeps the rubber-prop of the foot that the title monster of "The Fly" (1986) played by Jeff Goldblum melts off (and feeds on in a deleted shot) his character with fly-acid in his home's refrigerator, and cheerfully shows the hideous prop to his son's friends whenever asked.

A children's theater production in Napa led to New York which led to his first East Coast play at LaMaMa with Danny DeVito and Peter Riegert.

Stage training included ACT in San Francisco.

The world is experience, language, and stories. Collect them all, however you can. There are many ways to create and to be useful. If you want to be an actor, so be it, almost any road can take you there, and everything is grist for the mill. But get up on a stage. Study, learn, rehearse, enjoy it.
