Michael Geimer-Gründgens

- Michael Geimer-Gründgens wurde im Jahr 1940 geboren. Michael ist bekannt für Komm in die Wanne, Schätzchen (1971).
- In 1977, the German magazine "Der Spiegel" announced that Geimer was about to shoot a biopic about a the true story of a prominent beggar in Düsseldorf/Germany who had made more money through begging than most employees are paid for their full time job. Thr lead was to be played by the real beggar.
- Geimer-Gründgens followed a directing career first, but formed a dubbing company called MGS (=Michael Geimer Synchron GmbH) in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1973. The company was specialized in "funny" German translations in order to add comic content to movies that were meant to be "serious" in their country of origin (similar to the way Rainer Brandt used to dub foreign-language movies). In 1985, MGS moved to Cologne/, in 1993 its name was changed into logoSynchron GmbH.
- Used to live in Düsseldorf.
- Nephew of actor-director Gustaf Gründgens.
