Vasilis Fotopoulos(1934-2007)

Elia Kazan's 1963 film "America, America" apparently included 75 sets created by Photopoulos. Kazan removed his name from the credits saying no one would believe that a young Greek boy had created such sets. The film won the Oscar for Best Art Direction and the statute was given to Gene Callahan.
