- T.Y. Drake wurde am 28 Juni 1936 in Kanada geboren. Er war Autor und Regisseur, bekannt für The Psychiatrist (1970), The Keeper (1976) und Monster im Nachtexpress (1980). Er war mit Sally Drake und Lois Jane Richman verheiratet. Er starb am 8 August 2008.

- Was a songwriter in the late 1950s, teaming with Bob Shane to write for the Kingston Trio. Also wrote "Olly Olly Oxen Free" with Rod McKuen.
- Performed as a folk singer on Andy Williams' TV show as a member of the recording group The Good Time Singers.
- Began writing for TV in the late '60s as both a story editor and scripter. One of his projects was the series "Then Came Bronson". His death came less than a year after the deaths of both "Then Came Bronson" producers Robert Sabaroff and Robert H. Justman, and its most prolific director, Jud Taylor.
- Performed as a folk singer on Lloyd Bridges's TV show as a member of the recording group The Other Singers.
