Plump comic actress who started her career at Hal Roach studios in short comedies. Best remembered in Laurel & Hardy films; she played Mrs Hardy twice (Dick und Dof spielen Golf (1928) and Dick und Doof machen eine Landpartie (1929)). Later played bit parts in Hollywood features, once in W.C. Fields Gib keinem Trottel eine Chance (1941).
