He acted in Oscar Wilde's play, "The Importance of Being Earnest," at the Buxton Opera House in Buxton, Derbyshire, England in a Tynewear Theatre Company production with Irene Sutcliffe, Tim Brierley, and Charles Simon in the cast. Kim Grant was director.
