Roy Boulting
- Created a scandal when he and Hayley Mills, the former Disney child star whom he directed in Honigmond '67 (1966) and who was 33 years younger than he, fell in love, moved in together for five years, then married in 1971 and had a son in 1973. They divorced in 1977.
- His son, with Hayley Mills, is Crispian Mills, lead singer of Kula Shaker. Signed with Sony; their second single went straight to number 2 in the UK charts.
- Twin brothers John Boulting and Roy Boulting used to alternate the credits for Director and Producer on the movies they made together.
- Roy's five marriages produced six sons, and he also had another son with a Victoria Vaughan.
- In the 1930's, he went to Canada, eventually returning to Britain aboard a ship freighting cattle. He then worked as a film film salesman and assistant director.
- Twin brother of John Boulting. Younger brother of actor Peter Cotes.
- His sons with 3rd wife Enid were Fitzroy Boulting and identical twins Edmund & Rupert. He was also step-father to Ingrid Boulting, her daughter from a previous marriage.
