Her favourite films include: Der weiße Hai (1975), Suspiria: In den Krallen des Bösen (1977), American Werewolf (1981), Katzenmenschen (1982), Rita will es endlich wissen (1983), Die Zeit der Wölfe (1984), Weil ich ein Mädchen bin (1999) and Faust: Love of the Damned (2000).

She used to earn money busking in the street playing the violin.

She sang on Eurotrash.

Her great grandad built one of the first cinemas in England in Cornwall· (It's a garage now but it does have a plaque on the wall marking its significance).

Emily is also very popular on the fan convention scene attending a few each year, she is known for her friendly down to earth approach with her fans whom some have become friends.
