Madhavan was then replaced by Emraan Hashmi. The film went thru delays and Akshaye and Emraan both opted out. Fardeen also left the film. Abhay Deol was then signed for Akshaye's role and Nikhil Dwivedi for Emraan's role. Abhay was also to produce the film. After further financial problems, the film was finally shelved.
