- As a favor for Robert Zemeckis, she sang "Why Don't You Do Right?" for sultry heroine Jessica Rabbit in the film Falsches Spiel mit Roger Rabbit (1988). Kathleen Turner supplied the character's speaking voice. However, Irving did not receive a paycheck for her work.

- When she reprised her role from Carrie: Des Satans jüngste Tochter (1976) as Sue Snell in Carrie 2 - Die Rache (1999), Irving can be seen banging on the door of the ill-fated party to be allowed in.
