Legal name continues to be Hans Gudegast. Although he initially resented being asked to use a non-German stage name, he has since gotten accustomed to being called Eric by new acquaintances and colleagues, while Hans is the name he uses among family and old friends.
In 1973, he had consecutive guest starring roles, as two different characters, on Owen Marshall - Strafverteidiger (1971) and Der sechs Millionen Dollar Mann - Der Waffenschieber (1973), which in and of itself would not seem unusual. However, both of these series starred Lee Majors, which was very unusual for the time, with one actor starring on two different active television series at the same time. The two appearances were during the same week, with Eric's first appearance on Wednesday, October 17, 1973, and his second appearance on Saturday, October 20, 1973, both shows were produced at and by Universal Studios (as Universal Television), and both series were broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC TV Network). The Six Million Dollar Man show was actually a made for TV movie that preceded the actual series.

Being in love, and I'm not an expert in this, I've lived it as much as anyone has, but I've not dissected it.
I have a feeling that being in love sometimes means the projection of your desires onto another person. The important thing is that you like the other person, respect the other person and want to raise children with the other person.
If both parents must work, I think it is more important that the mother has proximity to the child to therefore establish a childcare situation at the big corporations not once a day, but many times a day.
A relationship has to be cultivated. There have to be feelings of love for another first. But then you have to really like the person.
Raising children is an enormously important part of life. I think one of the most important, or the most important, period.
