- Along with Gary Jones, she is one of only two actors to appear in all ten seasons of Stargate: Kommando SG-1 (1997) and all five seasons of Stargate: Atlantis (2004).
- Of the other four original Stargate: Kommando SG-1 (1997) regulars, she is the only one who did not meet and/or work with Richard Dean Anderson before the series began.
- Has appeared on-screen in more "Stargate" productions than any other actor. - [on winning her first Saturn Award] All I can say is thank God "Buffy"'s off the air, I was starting to feel like Susan Lucci.
- [on Sanctuary - Wächter der Kreaturen (2008)] We are a one-hundred percent independent Canadian television series. I think that's an anomaly in this country, and probably around the world in most countries. To have a television show that doesn't have the backing of a major studio or a major network is really unusual.
- [on the establishment of the charity, "Sanctuary for Kids"] To me, I'm living this great life. I thought there must be some way I can give back. Smaller charities can do a lot. There are places where a small amount of money can make a huge difference. The mandate is to help people who need help. It's a small drop in the bucket, but it's a drop. And it is making a difference.
