Sears cast his film instructor and underground filmmaker, George Kuchar, in his first feature film "Bongwater".

After seeing Tenacious D at Club Largo, Sears asked them to perform a song in Bongwater and Jack Black to play the part of Devlin.

After working on Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. with Marvel Studios as a creative producer, Mr. Sears was tasked with creating an interactive experience for Transformers and Hasbro. He created and directed the immersive/interactive experience in 10 months and it opened in China on 1/2/2018. The experience features Optimus Prime and his Autobots and utilizes VR / AR interactive gaming and features an original CGI animated film in 4D. Transformers: Autobots Alliance continues to tour Asia through 2020.
