- Oscar Sabo wurde am 29 August 1881 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [ora Austria] geboren. Er war Schauspieler und Autor, bekannt für Er und sein Diener (1931), Der Barbier von Flimersdorf (1915) und Reise in die Vergangenheit (1943). Er starb am 2 Mai 1969 in Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
- Prolific Austrian singer and comic character actor. On stage from 1910, he was mentored by Max Reinhardt and first made his name in operettas and revues. He also starred in early silent comedies, moving on to supporting roles by the advent of sound pictures.
- His son Oscar Sabo jun. (1922-1978) became actor too.
- His real film career began in the 30's. He soon became established as a popular support actor.
