Exclusive: Endeavor Content has acquired international distribution rights to Bring on the Dancing Horses, a female-led modern Western drama series starring Kate Bosworth.

The ten-part drama, which launched at the Sundance Film Festival in January, is being sold at the LA Screenings, where Endeavor Content has hired out the theater at Soho House West Hollywood to attract buyers.

Bring on the Dancing Horses is written, directed and executive produced by indie director Michael Polish. Bosworth (The Long Road Home) and Polish, who were married for eight years but separated last year, produce through their Make Pictures Productions banner.

The series sees Bosworth playing a confident assassin with a list of targets to take down. As she makes her way through the men on her list, the truth behind how her story began is revealed.

He lives with his Uncles James (Creed Bratton), who is sick or depressed — something never clarified in the film. Terri becomes his caretaker, making him meals, ensuring that he takes his medicine and putting him to bed. He does not know what happened to his parents, and it is evident that he is lonely and unhappy.

Principal Fitzgerald (John C. Reilly), not your average principal, takes an interest in Terri because he’s late every day and wears only pajamas to school. When asked by Principal Fitzgerald why he only wears pajamas, he responds, “They are the only thing that makes me feel comfortable.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Sometimes it’s not the premise that’s enthralling but the characters and how they evolve in a simple, nicely told story. In Azazel Jacobs‘ follow up to his 2008 Sundance hit Momma’s Man, a shy, obese, socially removed student (the Terri of the title), who lives in a warm, derelict house with his only caring relative and walks into class everyday in his pajamas, is befriended by his high-school assistant principal. Mr Fitzgerald, you see, has a habit for nurturing underachieving outcasts by scheduling weekly heart-to-heart meetings in his office.

John C Reilly is on hilarious (dare I say it) career best form as the kind of teacher you always wanted your teacher to be – kind-hearted, cool-headed, down to earth but ultimately flawed like the rest of us. He relates to Terri’s tardiness and strange behaviour (Terri has a penchant for rat catching too!

Olivia Crocicchia ("Rescue Me") has joined the indie comedy "Terri" for Silverwood Films says The Hollywood Reporter.

Author Patrick deWitt penned the script which centers on an obese 14-year-old boy in a small town as he struggles to adjust to his difficult life. Crocicchia plays a pretty but sad girl who helps him cope.

John C. Reilly, Jacob Wysocki and Mary Anne McGarry also star. Patrick deWitt ("Ablutions") penned the script.

Azazel Jacobs ("Momma's Man") directs and shooting kicked off last week in Los Angeles. Alex Orlovsky, Lynette Howell, David Guy Levy and Alison Dickey are producing.

Olivia Crocicchia joins indie comedyRescue Me's Olivia Crocicchia has joined the Azazel Jacobs-directed indie comedy Terri, starring opposite John C. Reilly.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Terri centers on a large 14-year-old boy in a small town as he struggles to adjust to his difficult life. Crocicchia will play Heather, a pretty but sad girl who helps Terri cope with a frequently hostile world.

The film was written by novelist Patrick deWitt.

The Silverwood Films production began shooting last week in Los Angeles.

Terri comes to theaters in 2011 and stars John C. Reilly, Jacob Wysocki, Mary Anne McGarry. The film is directed by Azazel Jacobs.
