Had two children - a son Daniil with his ex-girlfriend Olga Anosova and a daughter Anfisa Maryanova with his now widowed wife Kristina Bik.

On October 15, 2017 he became ill while driving from his summer residence on Lobnya to Moscow home. He was with his friends in the car and they stopped at the traffic police post and drove to the hospital in Lobnya accompanied by police as the city emergency medical service, according to some reports, was overloaded. Having arrived to the place, his friends sent him to the doctors, who ascertained his death at about 19:30 Moscow time. According to his friends, he complained on back and leg pains that morning, and lost consciousness a few hours later. According to media reports, the cause of death was a severed thrombus. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region will check information that he maybe died because of the doctors' refusal to promptly provide the assistance necessary in such situations.
