- In the world of Gamindustri, four competing CPU goddesses rule the lands of Lastation, Leanbox, Lowee, and Planeptune. When dark forces threaten their power, they'll have to learn to work together if they want to defeat evil. - A long time ago there was a conflict between a goddess and an evil god. The two deities didn't fight directly, but created a large number of special weapons for others to use. Eventually, these powers sealed each other and the power vanished from the world. Fast forward to modern times where these leftover weapons are called "Furies" and warriors that wield them are "Fencers." Fury weapons are said to be incredibly powerful, so Fencers constantly scramble to acquire them. By a strange coincidence, two fencers, Fang and Tiara, get caught up in the struggle between the goddess and evil god.
- Hyperdimension Neptunia: Re;Birth1 is a 3D turn-based jRPG and an enhanced remake of the PS3 game Hyperdimension Neptunia. Many parts of the game are entirely identical. It has the same universe and the main story is the same. Neptunia, the main heroine is a goddess defeated in wars by three other goddesses. However, there are several new mechanics for this version like the "remake system" to find new dungeons and in-battle perks, characters changes and tweaks to the story. The visuals are entirely reworked and there is new music and voice-acting.

Locked in the Console War, the four Goddesses vie for domination of the planet until Neptune is cast down and stripped of her power. Now Neptune must fight to restore her place, but could a being known as Arfoire threaten the very world the Goddesses have sworn to protect?
- In one of infinite dimensions, the world of Gamindustri exists a world where 2D games reign supreme. An organization known as Bombyx Mori fiercely devoted to these games rules over this vibrant world and their devotion comes with a heavy price as citizens of Gamindustri are forced to offer 2D games to Bombyx Mori as taxes. Those who dare to use new technologies or create games that don't meet their standards risk being banished to the Trial Grounds. It is in this Gamindustri, a dark world with no real future in sight, that Neptune wakes from her sleep and with a strange book in hand, she sets off on the journey of a Hero.
- 1929 - It was the year of the outbreak. In masses, normal people were transforming into inhuman creatures called Chimeras. The cause: a mysterious virus brought to earth by a meteorite, known as the Black Garnet, which crashed there long ago. Time passes. ACID establishes a special unit known as Special Force Valkyrie in order to eradicate the Chimera that threaten humanity to this day.
