That all changed when he met his wife, Judy, daughter of famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film tells Spera's journey from skeptical police officer, to director of the New England Society for Psychic Research, and curator of haunted artifacts such as the infamous Annabelle Doll.
