- Zhou Shen Shen loses her voice after a bus accident and gets taken to the hospital by her friend Zuo Jun(who blames himself for making her mute) there she meets Qi Wei Yi a boy who leg got broken by jealous peers. - The title character of this engaging historical drama is the high-spirited daughter of a General, advisor to the Emperor. Si Tu Jing frequently dresses as a man and wanders about the capital, where everyone knows her as Xiao Long Xia (Little Lobster). Although she and her friends often get into brawls and concoct shady money-making schemes, they use all of their earnings to help refugees struggling to survive in the city. Young Emperor Zhu Yun also likes to slip out of the palace incognito. Intelligent, witty and skilled in martial arts, he is concerned with stabilizing the kingdom and has great compassion for the plight of his subjects. Observing Xiao Long Xia's gang as they stage one of their scams, Zhu Yun realizes their good intentions and begins to admire Xiao Long Xia. Bai Yun Fei, the son of the Duke of Yunnan, arrives in the capital to conclude an arranged marriage to the Emperor's sister, and is mistakenly robbed by Xiao Long Xia's friends. A confrontation among these three protagonists ends in a pledge of brotherhood, with each of them unaware of the others' true identities. Political machinations within and outside the palace erupt to test this bond, while the revelation that Xiao Long Xia is really a woman stirs passionate emotions in both men. Adding to these complications is the return of the volatile Princess An Ning, whose betrothal to Bai Yun Fei takes a very rocky course due to her fiancé's infatuation with his "third sister." Si Tu Jing, on the other hand, is unaware that she is actually a princess of the previous dynasty, with a fanatic group of supporters planning a rebellion to restore her kingdom. Intrigue, romance, family honor, betrayal, and tests of loyalty and friendship all play a role as the plot weaves to its climax, in which Zhu Yun, Si Tu Jing, and Bai Yun Fei must risk everything to save their lives and the kingdom.
- Qian Long's mother returns to the palace from her religious pilgrimage and the Queen's action's become more ridiculous than ever. More trivial scenes than ever are added, only serving to give some with light humor. The concentration in the sequel is clearly on the love between couples. Two new important characters are also added--the border princess Hom Herng and her lover, Mon Don. Their conflict become an integral point in the sequel.

Using Pao-Chu's father as an example of failure, Pao-Chu's mother forces Pao-Chu to date someone wealthier, and break up with Ta-Lang. On the day of her birthday, something happened to Pao-Chu that cause them to have a misunderstanding that expanded over years. Thinking that he got dumped by his first love, Hsueh Hai drops his alias as Ta-Lang. Three years later, Hsueh Hai has transformed himself from a dork into a play-boy. After hearing Pao-Chu's familiar voice on the radio as a DJ, Hsueh Hai decides to seek revenge but true love can't be separated so after seeing her with her 'judo senior', he became jealous and later on realizes that he still loves her. But what will happen when she finds out his real identity? Will the misunderstanding be cleared up?
- The little girl (Cai Yue also known as Yue Shen) decides to live with her father - he is known to be the best swordsman there is. Xiao Li Fei Dao challenges him to a duel, but before that duel the little girls father was blinded and subsequently killed in the duel with Xiao Li Fei Dao. When Cai Yue found out that her father died (before he went to fight Xiao Li Fei Dao he promised his daughter that he would come back.) Cai Yue was angered by the death of her father and wanted revenge. Xiao Li Fei Dao found out that his son was Li Huai (a beggar). So he decided to give Li Huai the secrets to the famous kung fu - "Xiao Li Fei Dao". Li Huai took that and his mothers will and decided to leave the Li house (he did not want to be in that family.) Years later Cai Yue thought that she was good enough to fight Xiao Li Fei Dao (Li Huai's dad). She went to his house and challenged him.
- Xiang Yun Jie is rich man who was once divorced, and unknowingly had an eight year old son. He is also a young owner of a hotel. Fang Yong Yong is an orphan. She works as a housekeeper in the hotel that Xiang Yun Jie owns. The two of them started their fairytale like love story from a 'fake marriage'. Xiang Yun Jie's brother, Xiang Yun Chao, is always hiding in the shadow, he is also the one who completes the love triangle.
