The series follows the quirky Dr Qin as he uncovers a variety of bizarre cases along with his trusted associate, Detective Lin Tao, and eager assistant, Li Da Bao.

Li Dabao was Qin Ming's new assistant. This was her first day on duty after she left the trace expertise department.
