During holidays, Norwegians flock to the mountains and the archipelago for the simple cabin life. During the 20th century, close to 400 000 cabins were built in Norway, many without running water or electricity. Many cabins are now becoming run down and are in need of renovation. In this series, interior designer Halvor Bakke and his carpenter friends travel around Norway, renovating and updating cabins located in some very fantastic places.

We follow the Aasheim family as they spend a year in a small cabin on Svalbard, living of what nature can provide in this snow covered wilderness with polar bears as their closest neighbors.

Nilam og Banden is a story about Georg and Otto, two young budding detectives who dream of one day solving the big case. So far they have not been successful, but then the fearless girl Nilam appears.

The Dilte Pope. The gang is in the cabin in the silo. They are trying to track down Ole Nilsen. It is the suspect man whom they otherwise call the Bulldog. Otto agrees to Nilam's proposal, which makes Georg jealous.

Can the dead smile? Georg and Otto have a spy club called the Gang. The boys tend to play detective at the mall. The problem is that nothing mysterious or criminal ever occurs there. They dream of getting a big spy case, but start to lose heart.

Man's best friend. The gang visits Nordenden. All the dogs are stolen from this neighborhood. The children witness an attempted theft of a dog. The thief is wearing a jacket that they are aware of.

The thief among us. After the threatening letter from the dog thief, Otto is afraid that he will lose Ringo. Otto therefore picks up the dog at Ole's dog hotel. Otto would rather just stay home with Ringo until the thief is caught. Georg and Nilam persuade Otto to come out with them.

Nilam and the gang. The gang has a suspect in the dog case. The man has been observed with several different dogs. The boys meet at the shopping mall, but Otto doesn't know that Nilam is also invited. He doesn't like her going on missions with the Gang.

The dog prison. Georg and Nilam try to find their mate. Otto disappeared when he hid in the trailer. With the help of Bamse at Felleskjøpet, they obtain the address for Bulldoggen. He lives on a farm outside the city. The car and trailer are in the courtyard, but neither Otto nor the Bulldog can be seen.

The city's best view. The mysterious girl has disappeared from the forest. Georg wants to try to find her, but Otto would rather look for the missing dog.

Dear miserable meats. The gang ransack Bamse's house. They find clues that prove he is the thief. In addition, they discover a hand-drawn map. This leads them into the large factory hall at Felleskjøpet. A chocolate paper helps them find Bamse's hiding place.
