- Hotel Mokum is a docu fiction about a collective that squatted the abandoned Hotel Marnix in the heart of Amsterdam on October 16th, 2021. Over six weeks the collective transformed the hotel into a home, a self-proclaimed free space and an oasis in a city smothered by hypergentrification. At the height of its popularity, Hotel Mokum got evicted under the guise of fire safety. The story of Hotel Mokum is rooted in protest: against both the housing and cost of living crises, as well as the criminalisation of squatting in 2010 that led to the eviction of over 300 squats in Amsterdam alone. The film combines documentary footage, archival materials and constructed scenes to create a complex and intimate portrait of a hopeful collective and the city they are working to reclaim.

In six episodes they go beyond the well-known shame and taboos and, together with director Sophie Dros, investigate the current state of sex education. - Tomorrow is a Mystery seeks to answer the question: what is the deeper meaning of a festival? This exploration is based on the history of Mysteryland, the world's longest-running dance festival. In 1993, a group of young trailblazers started a dance festival: Mysteryland. Riding the waves of pounding hardcore beats, the festival grew into a colorful, diverse, and sensory-stimulating total experience. An event that goes far beyond hands in the air at a fun DJ set. As one attendee says upon arriving at Mysteryland: 'The pilgrimage has begun again.' What does a festival mean to a person? Is it dancing on the volcano? Or is it a spiritual experience? How can you feel connected to thousands of strangers? Tomorrow is a Mystery is a rollercoaster ride through the answers to these questions. Told by artists, attendees, the founders, the current organizers, and experts. Full of amazing archival footage from four decades and a brilliant selection of classic dance tracks. Three days, 130,000 people from all over the world, 20 stages, 1 shared energy, and countless stories. From gabbers of the 90s, artists from then and now, and even a group of festival-goers standing on the dance floor with the ashes of a deceased friend, while at another stage, a marriage proposal takes place. Featuring Armin van Buuren, Cynthia Spiering, Maddix, Laura van Dam, Duncan and Lisca Stutterheim, Gert van Veen, Sander Groet, Arne van Terphoven, and many others.
