"Der Wedding kommt" is a Facebook-first web series about three young women in Berlin: Roxy, Luisa and Mia. The series takes place in the Berlin U-Bahn U8, which the three girlfriends ride every weekend back and forth from yet-to-be-gentrified Wedding to trendy Neukölln. Along the way they experience a microcosm of Berlin (night) life. In addition to its female cast, "Der Wedding kommt" has been writtten, directed and produced almost entirely by women.

The idealistic and attractive surgeon Dr. Myra Johnson accepts a position on "Antarktika III", a scientific research station. Upon her arrival she realizes that the current staff has been exposed to the Antarctic for too long. They have lost touch with reality, while their leader - whom Myra urgently needs to talk with - has disappeared without a trace. Due to a mysterious accident all communications with the outside world are lost. Now, with the onset of the Antarctic winter, the research station is completely isolated. And while the scientists are busy finding ways to impress Myra - each with his individual but hopeless style - nobody realizes they and their scientific drilling haven awoken something dangerous.

From Africa to Europe. The film follows five refugees through Kenia, Niger, Lybia, Israel, Turkey and Greece. They are on their journey, their "Tahrib".
