CloudStreet: Soaring The American West features the beauty and drama of a soaring adventure in the American West. As unbelievably serene as it is thrilling, CloudStreet gives viewers the extraordinary experience of soaring along the Rocky Mountains of New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming. Along the way, CloudStreet educates our audience not just about flying sailplanes cross-country, but also about the science of soaring, about the unique geography of the inter-mountain west, and about the workings of our atmosphere. It is easy learning as the audience is carried along by the excitement of this experience and drawn in by the natural curiosity evoked from this extraordinary mode of flight. We hear from the pilots about how it feels to cross vast distances using only the energy of the atmosphere to stay aloft. Their love of soaring is inspirational as they balance managing the dangers of motor-less flight, and the joys of true freedom.

Living in the Story presents a fast romp through thirty-five years of art making by the distinguished photographic artist Patrick Ryoichi Nagatani, pioneer of the Contemporary Constructed Photographic Movement. Nagatani's innovative and prolific art deals with anxiety in the nuclear age and methods of healing and transcendence. Scott Nagatani's hauntingly beautiful music score provides the film's soundtrack.

The perception of the Warrior has been communicated through books, lore, television and film as a stoic fighter, and savage aggressor, one who retaliated for lost lands, and the constant enemy of the white rancher or soldier. Rarely has the the Warrior been seen outside the Indian world with the more accurate recognition of the reluctant fighter, seeking to defend and protect a culture and lands, against all odds. Complicated further is the attempt to understand the motives of a Native American military soldier, fighting for America in world wars and conflict, even when citizenship and voting rights have been denied. Impacted from the time of the Indian Scout, and reinforced by cultural differences, experiences Native and Non Native soldiers differ greatly. The answer to "Why Fight" requires a complex look at the truth through decades of stereotypes and misperceptions. Remarkably, the answer has stayed the same, whether during the 1500s Tiguex War, the Indian Wars of the 1800s, the World Wars, modern Warfare, or continued modern fights for sovereignty and environment. To Protect and defend - the cohesive thread that connects generations and tribes. This film allows the viewer to follow the journey of the Warrior as he (and she) continue conflict resolution in order to survive and secure resources and culture. The answers to Why Fight remain true through time; the need for Warriors continues. There will always be warriors. "What we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves" and therefore, there will always be warriors. (Chief Joseph)

The film is a documentary portrait of New Mexican writer Max Evans author best known for The Rounders and The Hi Lo Country (both made into feature films). The film is the story of Max's improbable life from teenage cowboy, to soldier in WWII (Max landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day), to struggling small ranch owner, to mining speculator, to painter working in the artists' colony of Taos, and finally to his real calling a writer who chronicles the ever-changing, complex life of ranchers and cowboys in contemporary New Mexico.
