Against his will Sune is camping in the Swedish woods with his father. What was meant to be a trip for bonding, ends up tearing father and son further apart until they meet a robber and have to work together to get out of the forest alive.

In this comedy series, lifetime mayor and informal king of Givsted town hall, Per Tommy Larsen (Lars Ranthe), has been ousted from office and replaced by the very tight and highly ambitious Christina Berg (Lærke Winther). Per Tommy Larsen now eyes his chance for a comeback to power, so the war is on. We soon learn to see, that gloves are off and no trick in the book is to be ruled out between the two combatants - not even a little romance.

In this bittersweet comedy series we are introduced to a dozen of highly varied figures - most of them amazingly played by its two leading ladies - each of them dealing with some personal issues and idiosyncrasies, in their own way fighting to overcome the constraints of life. Thanks to writer Christina Sederqvist and director Jesper Rofelt we observe a significant and rather uplifting development of most of the main characters throughout the three seasons of the series.
