A police investigation of murders where the killer seems to elude the authorities. Two detectives, John Cramer and his partner Tebsane Masa have been assigned to solve the case. John's experience of the murders in the case takes its toll on his family after his wife gets abducted, leaving him with no choice but to play a hand of chance (against all odds) with the killer.

After winning a boat cruise, desperate IT geek André van Vyk is pushed to the edge emotionally when he tries to salvage the spelling mistake of his name in his passport, at the Department of Home Affairs.

Murray, an inept stationary supply salesman; recently divorced, fired, out of luck and friends, struggles to find his sense of purpose and meaning. His efforts shift when he befriends a total stranger by the name of Leonard, who somehow knows a lot about Murray.
