Paris 1913. Coco Chanel is infatuated with the rich and handsome Boy Capel, but she is also compelled by her work. Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring is about to be performed. The revolutionary dissonances of Igor's work parallel Coco's radical ideas. She wants to democratize women's fashion; he wants to redefine musical taste. Coco attends the scandalous first performance of The Rite in a chic white dress. The music and ballet are criticized as too modern, too foreign. Coco is moved but Igor is inconsolable. Paris 1920, Coco is newly wealthy and successful but grief-stricken after Boy's death in a car crash. Igor, following the Russian Revolution is now a penniless refugee living in exile in Paris. Coco is introduced to Igor by Diaghilev, impresario of the Ballets Russes. The attraction between them is instant and electric. Coco invites Igor along with his wife - now sick with consumption - together with his four children and a menagerie of birds to stay at her new villa, Bel Respiro, in Garches.

Japanese artist, Foujita, is Paris' darling in the roaring twenties, loved for his delicate nudes. After leaving his 1st wife, Fernande, he meets Lucie Badoud and names her Yuki (snow in Japanese) after her exquisitely pale skin. Together with their friends Van Dongen, Kisling, Picasso, Modigliani & Kiki, they go to all the parties! On the outbreak of WWII, Foujita returns to Japan with his new Japanese wife, Kimiyo. He exhibits his war paintings that are much darker than the delicate whites of his Paris period. As the battles intensify, Foujita retreats to the country with Kimiyo and discover a Japan he never knew. Foujita returns to France years later. Here, newly naturalised, he takes on the French name Léonard and builds the chapel "Notre Dame de la Paix" in Reims, his final work.

After leaving the Kremlin, he has dedicated his life to filmmaking, mainly throughout the African continent, and shooting a series of documentary films on the endangered traditional African peoples. Passionate about trophy hunting, he ran directly into the heinous scale of the elephants extermination in Africa. This film is a challenge to the civilized world, which is unable today to stop the bloody business of ivory. This film is an accusation of the inefficiency of many non-governmental organizations, engaged in the preservation of rare plants and animal species threatened with extinction, but in fact appearing to be dormant. This film is an exposure of African corruption, which erodes the continent like a cancer. This film takes the masks off the Catholic Church and the Buddhist monks encouraging the demand for ivory. This film disconcertingly shows the role of China, the main culprit for the death of African elephants, whose avid demand for ivory has brought these animals to the brink of total extinction.
