- A middle class young woman, Dora, graduates in architecture and to make ends meet takes a course in flower arranging while also working part-time as a salesperson in a luxury store on Oscar Freire. Dora meets Beto, a lobbyist who wins her attention and after their first date, Dora finds an envelope with money in her bag. Although at first, she is unable to understand why Beto put it there, however, as the money came at an opportune time, Dora pays her bills and from that moment on, her fate into the world of high-class escorts is sealed.
- RIO BREAKS is more than just a film about surfing. It follows the story of two best friends, Fabio and Naama, as they navigate their way between the pitfalls of life in the slums and the joys of surfing on their favorite beach. Their goal: to win the contest and become professional surfers. Thirteen-year-old Fabio and 12-year-old Naama live at Favela do Pavao, an enormous slum near Arpoador Beach, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pavao is home to Commando Vermelho (CV), or Red Command, one of Rio's most heavily armed drug gangs. It's the Red Command who sets the rules and regulates life in the community. Their presence is ubiquitous, with armed soldiers constantly patrolling the hills and regulating the various points of sale. Fabio lives in an area of the favela called Vietnam, the poorest and most violent part of the slum. When the police come up looking for traffickers, that's where they look - and shoot - first. Raised by illiterate grandparents, he cannot read or write and is not going to school. Fabio is a prime candidate to join CV and become yet another gun-toting teenager involved in Rio's drugs war. In fact, he already shows worrying signs: mouthing off to the police, bullying some of the younger surfers and threatening Naama. Naama lives around the corner from Fabio. Born under a bridge where he lived until he was three, he and his family moved to the favela 9 years ago. What will happen to these best friends? Will any of them win the contest? Will their own relationship survive Fabio's aggressive personality? Can surfing offer a way out for Fabio or will he follow in the footsteps of his dad and join the drug gang? This is the story of Rio Breaks.
- Another skyscraper is rising to rip São Paulo's skyline. To do that, it has to buy Vitrola, an old vinyl album store that belongs to ELPÍDIO, a retired old grouch who lives for this shop. It would be easy to refuse the offers of the neoclassic Jardin de Tullieries building if ELPÍDIO wasn't totally bankrupt and also responsible for the income of his daughter ELISE and his grandson GABRIEL. While trying to escape this trap, ELPÍDIO ends up on a TV stage, where his musical knowledge will be tested. The immersion into a reality completely different from his own will make ELPÍDIO change his way of seeing the world, reassessing his relationship with his daughter and his grandson, as well as lead him to find room for love amidst so much vinyl, memories and dust.

Years later, he arrives at the village reigned by the hinterland's ruler and his thugs. This new friendship will challenge his destiny. Inside Matraga, the Saint and the Warrior will duel until his time comes.
- COPA HOTEL tells the story of 33-year-old FREDERICO GONZALES (Miguel Thiré), a photographer from Rio who lived abroad for many years and comes back to take ownership over his deceased father's property: a hotel in Copacabana. All kinds of characters, from wealthy guests to boardwalk prostitutes, bring sex stories, humor, drama and romance to the "Copa Hotel", giving shape to a diverse and contemporary mosaic. Dealing with the hotel's desperate financial situation and a Rio de Janeiro that has changed completely, imposing a handful of its own rules would, at first sight, be the greatest challenges for this Brazilian with a foreigner's mindset. However, much like most contemporary men, Fred's main challenge is dealing with himself.
- How can a game of football change a nation's destiny? How can the passion for another country's national team surpass the personal and collective conflicts of everyday life? Now imagine the Five Time World Champion Brazilian team playing with Haiti's national team to promote peace in a country going through a period of atavistic misery. UN troops, led by Brazil, try to maintain peace and order. The informal economy rules the streets. Hunger rages. Only music and faith, seems to keep them alive - and football. In this environment, the presence of the Brazilian National Team served as an excuse for hope and euphoria - and it is important to ask, what other purpose will it serve? What kind of peace can come out of this match? From any perspective, it was a unique encounter, of football with politics, of superstars with simpletons, of countries with similar histories and societies. An inexplicable passion that Haiti feels for Brazil that does not need to be understood, but incorporated. After all - as a common Haitian might say - "After seeing Brazil play, I can die!"
